A very beautiful but, with its 7874 ft in altitude and 73 miles, long and difficult tour leads us around enchanting Tuscany.

Today´s “hill tour“, which leads through the beautiful Chianti area, begins just outside the city of Siena.

We continue in a northern direction where the first climbs to the villages Castellina in Chianti and Greve in Chianti await us.

On this stretch there are only a few flat sections, so it goes continuously up and downhill to Dudda, Cavrigilia and Radda in Chianti towards Siena.

Not until the villages of Lecci and Pianella can we recover a bit from the previous stresses and strains and after a few miles we pass the northern suburbs of Siena.

Shortly afterwards we return to the starting point of this beautiful tour.
