The starting point of today´s 43 mile long and intermediate tour is Vilpian at 886 ft above sea level in South Tyrol.

On an even road stretch, we cycle through the beautiful fruit and vine-growing area in the Etsch valley.

On this scenic tour we ride through the vine villages of Terlan (886 ft) and Siebeneich (810 ft), before we reach Bozen, the capital of South Tyrol.

The steep climb up to Jenesien (3609 ft) begins shortly after Bozen.
Soon we gain altitude on this well built, but winding and undulating road.

After reaching the village of Jenesien, we ride a little up hill and down dale via the village of Flaas to Schermoossattel (4600 ft) and further via Vöran (3950 ft) to Hafling (4265 ft).
On this section we have a beautiful view at the rocks of the Schlern- and Rosengarten-Massifs.

Firstly riding downhill but afterwards on an even road stretch, via the villages of Sinich, Burgstall (886ft) and Gargazon (876ft), we once again reach our starting point of Vilpian (866ft).
