Today, a beautiful but moderate 68 mile 3-countries-tour awaits us.
Starting point is the beautiful city of Waldkirchen in the Bavarian Forest.

We start in the town centre and cycle on mainly lonely little roads in an eastern direction, passing idyllically situated villages such as Wollaberg, Aßberg and Breitenberg. Shortly after Breitenberg we get to the Austrian Mill Quarter via the border crossing point. 

Passing beautiful fields and meadows we cycle through the villages of Bräuerau, Berdetschlag and carry on cycling to Ulrichtsberg, where a short but steep ascent to the mountain crest awaits us.

Having arrived at the top of the border crest to the Czech Republic we quickly cycle downhill to the wild Moldau Valley and further alongside the Moldau reservoir to Zelnava. On light inclines with equally light descents we speedily carry on cycling on the country road through the beautiful Czech Countryside to Volary and further to Stozec.

Shortly after the village of Stozec, we have to overcome the ascent to the border crossing point to Haidmühle, in Germany, before we reach our starting point of Waldkirchen, several miles later.
