Today´s 47 mile tour, which can be used as a connection tour to the Silvretta-High Alpine Road, begins more or less between Galtür and the toll gate of the Silvretta-High Alpine Road. We turn left in the direction of Zeinisjoch. We do not expect great climbs until the Zeinis-Reservoir and we carry on cycling easily till the large car park of the Kops-Reservoir. Here we can enjoy an excellent view.

The way back to the junction to Galltür offers us further views of the high alpine landscape. We turn left and cycle downhill passing the villages of Galtür, Mathon, Ischgl and Kappl till we reach the junction to Arlberg at Pians.

Now it goes uphill. Here, on the well-built road to the village of Flirsch gradients of approximately 5% await us. The continuation of our tour via Pettnau to the village of St. Anton am Arlberg goes constantly uphill with only slight gradients.

At the far end of the village of St. Anton begins a scenic, but demanding, climb to the pass. Having arrived at the pass summit, and after a relatively short descent, we reach the junction for Flexenpass towards Bludenz.
