Today´s mainly moderate tour leads us directly through the picturesque French Rhine valley.

We start our mostly flat tour in the village of Neuf-Brisach which is surrounded by an old fortification. Passing meadows, fields and beautifully compiled wine slopes we cycle through beautiful Alsatian villages such as Ostheim, Ribeauvillé, Thannenkirch, with their impressive half-timbered houses. The following descent is terrific and offers us beautiful views of the valley time and again.

Having arrived in the valley, the way ahead leads us a good bit further into the plain alongside the Rhine, before we once again reach our starting point, Neuf-Brisach.
