Starting point of this approx. 23 mile relatively difficult long tour is Livigno at 5955 ft above sea level.

First we follow the SS 301 in an easterly direction.

After approx. 1640 ft we turn left at a junction and begin with the descent to Eira.

With mostly consistant gradients in the single digit percentage area we reach the Passo d’Eira (7247 ft) after approx. 4 rather sweat causing miles.

The following downhill ride to Ponte del Rezz (6650 ft) gives us the opportunity to recover before the next approx. 2.5 mile long climb up to the Passo di Foscagno (7516 ft) and the Italian customs post.

On the now following descent to Bormio (4108 ft), which is more than 14 miles long we can let our gaze wander over the beautiful mountain landscape.
