Starting point of this 24 mile long tour is Völs am Schlern (2887 ft) in South Tyrol.

At first we cycle downhill in southern direction.

After approx. 1.2 miles we turn to the right to the village Prösels (2808.4 ft)

Here the first challenge awaits us!

At the very beginning a 820.2 ft long climb with a gradient of 28 %, which then nevertheless significantly decreases on the further road stretch up to Prösels.

The further course of the way via Völser Aicha (2821 ft), St. Katherina(2844 ft), Tiers (3.372 ft) to St. Zyprian(3.521 ft) runs almost even on the beautifully situated panorama road along side the bottom of the Tschafon with the 6017 ft high Völsegg peak.

The second challenge is to overcome a gradient of more than 20 % right at the beginning of the village of St. Zyprian before we reach the Nigerpass (5.570 ft) after another few miles.

Afterwards, via the panorama road alongside the rose garden we come to the highest point of this tour, the Karerpass, at 5725 ft above sea level.

In a terrific speed we now ride down hill through many hairpin bends to POZZA di FASSA in the Fassa Valley.
